The Toulon Provence Regatta 2026 is proud to be officially recognised as part of the 400th anniversary of the French Navy. This prestigious label underlines commitment to promoting maritime heritage and naval excellence in the heart of Europe’s most beautiful harbour.

For its third edition, the Toulon Provence Regatta will be held from 7 to 10 May 2026, in the heart of Toulon’s harbour.

A major sporting and maritime event, The regatta brings together exceptional classic and modern sailing yachts that bear witness to the Frenchnational and international nautical heritage. Some of these legendary yachts have made history by taking part in the’America’s Cup, In this way, the regatta has become part of the great tradition of international competitions.

The Toulon Provence Regatta brings together all the yachts in the international metric class: 2.4, 5.5, 6, 8, 10 and 12M JI, offering a splendid view of the Mediterranean.

On 9 May, an eagerly-awaited highlight will round off the programme: the BattleBoats, an innovative regatta featuring sailing drones, combining sportsmanship, conviviality and modernity.

This year, Toulon will be even more vibrant as the city celebrates 400 years of the Navy.

For four days, Toulon will be alive with regattas, events and meetings:

  • High-level sports competition, with the participation of passionate crews from France and abroad.
  • A exhibitor village open to the public at the Port of Toulon, a place to meet, discover and exchange ideas.
  • A strong regional roots, The city’s maritime vocation is highlighted and contributes to its attractiveness as a tourist and business destination.
  • From unique moments at the Fort Saint-Louis and the Musée de la Marine, Toulon’s emblematic sites, which will host some of the partner events and activities, providing a prestigious and historic backdrop to the event.
  • From events accessible to all Sailboat tours, nautical baptisms, exhibitions and educational trails around the sea.

Last year the 2.4 fleet had 3 great days of racing (and 1 day lost due to too much wind). The wind was good and the sun was shining for the 3 days we got on the water.

Have a look at Bruce’s report below from last year for more details.

This year we have 26 entrants from France, UK, Germany, Ireland and the Netherlands. Hopefully the weather will be as nice as it was last year.
