From 2026, there will be two different rankings: the Champion Ranking and the Club Ranking.
Unlike in previous years, in 2026 only those regattas will be included in the ranking where
- at least 15 sailors have completed a race and
- at least three nations were represented.
Action4Europe Champion Ranking
As before, the ranking will be based on the sailors’ results. The individual results from each sailor’s best three races will be counted. See the previous rankings for 2023, 2024 and 2025.
There is no weighting of the regattas by a factor. Points are awarded for placings solely on the basis of the number of participants.
Action4Europe Internationality Ranking
In addition, we will rank the clubs according to the international nature of their regatta, taking into account the number of participating nations and the number of sailors from outside the host country.
Action4Europe Regatta Results
We will publish the results of all regattas on the A4E calendar – including those that do not feature in the rankings. This will allow everyone to see how the sailors performed and why they may have narrowly missed out on a place in the ranking in 2026.
