Only a few hours left until the International Dutch Championship starts at the Sneekthe sea. 35 sailors are registered: 13 GER, 11 NED, 4 GBR, 2 BEL, 2 THE, 1 FRA, 1 IRL, 1 NZL. This is a truly international field with seven nations from Europe and one sailor from the South Pacific; NZL stands for New Zealand. Paul Francis comes from the Kerikeri Sailing Club in the very north of New Zealand's North Island.

The weather looks set to be challenging. Windy is showing the following picture today

The wind can gust up to 30 knots, and it's likely to rain most of the time. But of course, we won't let that stop us, especially since even Windy can be wrong.
In any case: See you soon!
The picture by Cor Mantel above shows boats on the cross at the European Championship on the Sneekthe sea in 2014.

Ger90 is also there, Piccolo E, are on the island, boat has already been allowed out to sea 😀 today the wind was great!
