EFor the first time, Ukrainian sailors are taking part in one of Action4Europe’s regattas. Two sailors from Kyiv are coming to this year’s CZE Grand Prix. A4E has provided material support to Commodore Gennadii’s group in the past.
This therefore presents a unique opportunity to speak directly with people from Ukraine, who have been fighting a highly successful defensive war on behalf of the whole of Europe for almost five years.
The sailing area is set in a very beautiful landscape. Lake Macha offers everything we 2.4mR sailors need: good jetties, decent wind, professional race organisation, good food and a very reasonable registration fee of 1,500 CZK (approximately €63). The top Czech sailors will be competing, as will sailors from five other nations. However, there is still room for more entrants!
