From 2026 onwards, there will be two different rankings: the Champion Ranking and the Club Ranking.
Action4Europe Champion Ranking
As before, the ranking will be based on the sailors' results. The individual results of each sailor's best three races will be counted. See previous rankings. 2013, 2014, 2015, whereby, unlike before, only those regattas are included in the ranking where
- at least 15 sailors have completed a race and
- at least three nations were represented.
There is no weighting factor applied to the regattas. The only difference in rankings is the number of participants.
Action4Europe Club Ranking
In addition, we will rank the clubs according to the internationality of their regatta, e.g. the number of participating nations or the number of sailors from outside the host country.
Action4Europe Regatta Results
We will publish the results of all regattas in the A4E calendar – including those that don't count towards the Champion Ranking. This way, everyone can see how the sailors performed and why they narrowly missed being included in the ranking in 2026.
